Hangzhou Normal University – established in 1909 as Zhejiang high school and the title of the high school was changed to Hangzhou Normal University in 2006 in honor of merging with Hanzhaou institute of literacy and high school of pharmacy.
Hangzhou Normal University uses a wide-ranging program of categories of subjects: Biology, macromolecules, ideology, lyrics, metaphysic, hygiene, IT, marketing, natural sciences, pharmacy, medical skills and much more. The campus of Hangzhou Normal University is situated near the popular beach is in possession of 50,000 visitors each season, is almost 90km2 and covers 90% building zone. Another 10% zone is being built very fast in the plan of finishing it in 2019. Three years ago, 60 large buildings that considerably increased the capacity of students. They were constructed in just 2 years.
There are 18 colleges, which provide 34,000 collegians (28,000 of them are bachelor degrees and 6,000 aspirants) with 3 Ph.D. programs, 119 high-level programs, and 78 bachelor programs on the campus. In the colleges, more than 3,000 teachers, includes proximately 2,600 associated professors and 400 professors, are teaching the collegians.
Facilities
Hangzhou Normal University carries equally and efficiently all programs of educating and researching. There are 76 various inquiry centers are being used to practice and create new scientific blueprints and platforms, supported with awards and scholarships by the government and organization like “Prizes for talented junior scientists”, “Donations for Socialism and marketing”. By now, Hangzhou Normal University has finished about 300 academical blueprints, are very popular in China and in the world, too.
Hangzhou Normal University is having good relationships with more than well-known 70 universities and trying to create with others. It took in 917 foreign scholars (among 860 of them got graduate degrees and others doctoral degrees) in 2017.
