Climate
The city located in the warm temperate zone and has a semi-humid and semi-dry continental climate. January and July are the coldest and the hottest months respectively. History

Zibo Vocational Institute was founded in 1956 as Zibo Commercial College. In 2002 was transformed into Zibo Science and Technology Institute. And in 2009 Zibo Science and Technology Institute and Shandong Industry and Arts College have merged into Zibo Vocational Institute. Since 2007 became known as National Demonstration Vocational College.
