Huanggang Normal University Common information
Huanggang Normal University was established in 1906 near the Yangtze-river in the south of the province of Huanggang. Now, it is 4-year undergrad university specialized with a widespread group of subjects to offer master tutoring and non-master tutoring schemes. It is composed of three dorms: the east dorm, the west, and the south dormitories.

Scholarships
Huanggang Normal University recruits 120-160 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.
Facilities
They totally cover a territory of 15km2 and 9km2 of it is floored and filled with schooling buildings. The university is approved to accept scholars from 32 regions, provinces those are governed by the government and other independent zones in China. It is in possession of 21 colleges, more than 20,000 collegians and 2,000 skilled faculties. During the last 100years, Huanggang Normal University has improved its disciplines and reformed them into comprehensive ones, which involve these 9 branches of various disciplines: literature (letters), legislation, natural sciences, economy, farming, liberal arts, management, teaching sciences and engineering.
Tuition
Currently, Huanggang Normal University owes 15 graduate-level programs, 58 undergrad level programs, and 17 3-year diplomas, amongst those twofold undergrad level students may be granted with 23 programs. Guiding with this motto “restricting with scales, optimizing structures, innovative reformation and developing characteristics of schooling programs”. the university is continuously doing great jobs in the development and enhancement of the situation of the disciplines and programs of the tuition. 21 disciplines have been added to the tuition programs during the last 5 years.
Leading the educations of humanities and nature, it has made featured disciplines have mutual relations with other branches of the disciplines, in these programs. Especially, disciplines likewise literature ad sinology, educations of technology and biology have been entered the list of the native level key disciplines of the state by the agency pedagogics. Painting and architecture disciplines (schooling masters oriented subjects) were acclaimed as Outstanding Schooling programs re-form by the MOE.
Works in abroad
Huanggang Normal University is carrying on good relationships with universities and colleges abroad. It has already created lots of partnerships and student exchange programs with over 30 universities. Here are some of the universities: the University of Indiana, and university of New-jersey (USA), New Castle University and Queens-land University of Australia, N.G.E university of Canada, North Umbria University of Britain, Art of nation University of Moldova, Auckland university of New-Zealand, university Chung-An of Korea and University Asia of Japan. In addition, it has brought over 200 professors from abroad to lecture and teach. Meanwhile, Huanggang Normal University has exported over 150 masters for continuing education. From the year of 2005, masters come to teach Sinology each semester to this university from the University of Confucius. The University started to accept collegians from abroad in 2003.
