Yanshan University
The higher education institution (Yanshan University) began its activities from the beginning of the 20th century, in the early 1920s, the higher education institution used to be Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). In the middle of the twentieth century, the heavy machinery department was moved to the industrial kind of town, which called Fulaergi. The city is located in northeastern China, after all these changes the department was renamed the School of Heavy Equipment (HIT).

The number of square meters of the campus of a higher education institution is more than 1,100,000.
