Beijing Information Science & Technology University, founded in 2007 from its two former colleges’ combination called “Beijing College of Automation” and “Beijing IT College”. The university consists of 13 colleges on its campus. Here some of the colleges: the college of Electromechanics, Engineering and photoelectrical sciences college, Automation sciences college, IT and telecommunications college, the college of Software and computer, college of management and Economics, College of Data administration, College of politics, college of Humanity and socialism, Internationalized college and college of implemented education.

Scholarships
University recruits 120-160 students for scholarships every year. Scholarships for Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree as well as for language courses are provided.

Programs, disciplines, teachers and students
Currently, Beijing Information Science & Technology University has 33 bachelor’s teaching programs, 15 A1 level programs for master levels, 36 A2 level of master-degreed candidates, and 2 expert level programs for masters, include “Business management” and “engineering”. In addition, 20 years ago, it was approved for conferring undergraduates with qualifications of 9 disciplines of the sciences above by the ministerial council of Education.
At present, on the campus of the university, there are more than 1,200 postgraduates and 13,000 undergraduates studying, which among of whom over 100 collegians come from different 15 foreign countries and regions. The number of teachers and staff members amounts about 6,000 who are working at the university. Some of the teachers were awarded at the levels of the state and province, which 513 of them are the recipients of expert certifications, and 321 completed successfully their doctoral diplomas.

Now, Beijing Information Science & Technology University is giving big attention to exchanging programs and foreign collaborations as well as educational organizations, universities, institutes in over 40 countries such as New Zealand, United Kingdom, Japan, Thailand, France, Egypt, America and much more.
