The Shenyang Pharmaceutical University began its history in the 1930s, and since its foundation, the Higher School has retained its historical traditions. The educational institution is considered as one of the best high education establishments among pharmaceutical universities in the state. In 1949, the University changed its location, and nowadays it is located on the riverbank of the Hong River (Liaoning region).

Programs

More than one thousand workers work in the higher educational institution, four hundred of them are highly qualified teachers, and also about 190 of them are professors and associate professors. The number of students today is about ten thousand. It should be noted, that among the lecturers of the university there is one academician from the Academy of Sciences of China.

Management of the higher education
The management of the higher education institution has placed emphasis on international partnership with other domestic and foreign universities. International academic student exchanges are taking place, partnership agreements have been established with countries such as South Korea, the USA, Taiwan, and others, the total number of partner countries is over twenty.
