SHOU conducts training in 14 postgraduate curriculum, 24 university departments, 18 College specialties. Amount of students at SHOU is 10,000 people, including graduate students, students, high school students engaged in the summer school, and 3700 people engaged in the additional study program.
Shanghai Ocean University works closely with educational institutions in Canada, South Korea, the Russian Federation, and some other foreign institutions. INFRASTRUCTURE
SHOU has 3 parts: a campus in Jungong-road, a campus in Mingxing, campus in Xuehai-road, 3 hydroponics centers in Nanhui (Shanghai), Fenghua, Xiangshan (Zhejiang province). In accordance with The main mapping of Shanghai institutions, Shou moved to LINGANG ten years ago. Modern construction in LINGANG covers a space of 1600 m, in future, it will reach 586,000 m2.

Shanghai occupies the Yangtze River Delta in the east part of China. The city is a vital commercial center of China. Moreover, it is the biggest seaport in the world.
Shanghai is the financial and trade center of China. Market reforms in Shanghai began in 1992-a decade later than in the southern provinces. Today the city is the largest and most developed center of the continental part of China.
