Environment
Chongqing Technology and Business University occupy an overall space of 17km2. The main dorm was built in the Nanan suburb of Chongquing that is adjacent to the Mount Nanshan, and Yangtze River. Besides, the R&D technology and economy Center of Chongqing is also near the campus. It was surrounded by picturesque landscapes and benefited from communication facilities and high traffic of transports. The university has also one sub-dormitory that is positioned in the city of Jiangbei.
Faculties
The university owes a qualified team of faculties of 2,500 teachers, expert pedagogues and supporting personnel. Over 800 of them are associated pedagogues those 28 of them were awarded Governmental specific allowance. The number of candidates learning from the teachers is approximately 35,000.
Colleges
Chongqing Technology and Business University are composed of 23 colleges, offering Ph.D. two programs in the economy (Applied economics), 9 programs for master levels in the economy, management of the business, ideology, politics, banking, statistics and engineering of industry, media sciences, and 74 ones for undergraduates. Additionally, it has three multinational corporative stations, including «international college of business», «international academy of contemporary designing and Arts», etc. There are also 2 financial affiliated colleges namely, «pass college» and «Rongzhi college». Now, the university holds out 3 ministerial-level fields of schooling and 16 ministerial-level disciplines.
Foreign collaborations & exchanges
Chongqing Technology and Business University put a big emphasis on foreign collaborations and exchanges. It has set up warm connections between 60 oversea educational institutions in the USA, UK, Russia, Canada, Japan, Thailand, France and in the other 28 countries. The university has united undergraduates’ and postgraduates’ collaborative teaching programs, are popular in the University of Lincoln, University of Toulouse, H.E.C University of Montreal. It provides the candidates with A.C.C.A and C.I.M.A national programs. Furthermore, the university is offering «Chartered Analyst of Finance» and «International master settlements» governmental schemes in the near future. One of the features of Chongqing Technology and Business University is internships and academic researches. By now, it has successfully completed over 4,000 academic research projects, which about 500 of them have been conferred with national and ministerial awards, and 412 patents, have been granted by the State.
