E.C.N.U established in autumn, 1952 under Kvang Hva Academia. In 1958, it entered the list of initial 15 Main educational organizations. In 1987, it got a license to found own colleges and joined the group of such 30 universities.

E.C.N.U has about 5000 faculties. 3000 of them are masters, 2000 pedagogues, Some also work as a lecturer in famous universities such as “Yangtse Student Prize”, “Zijiyang Student Prize”. Currently, 20,000 novice-level and high-school collegers (7,000 are foreigners) are studying at E.C.N.U.
