Total space & majors
Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University occupies a total space of 14km2 with 4 campuses. The body of personnel members of the university is 2,267 and the studying candidates are nearly 24,000. The university owns 19 colleges, which offer 64 majors for undergraduates and 9 postgraduate majors for the disciplines of information technology, automatics, liberal arts, letters, economics, law, management, and further education.
Training programs for overseas
The university began recruiting foreign collegians in 2000, and at the moment it is training over 500 overseas students, come from 40 different countries. The tuition to them is divided into two: academical and non-academical training programs: Academical program includes long-term Sinology subjects and short-term Chinese-language education, which involve pronunciation training, writing skills, Culture of China, training for HSK, listening, and other basics of Chinese-language. An academical training program is mostly based on undergraduate and postgraduate level disciplines in English, involving BM (Business Management), CS (Computer sciences) and Engineering Sciences.
Campuses
The university has two campuses in Hong-Kong and Guangzhou. They are located in the center of the cities with high traffic roads and possess characteristic sceneries and dormitories for all studying or working at the university.
